NEW SINGLE - MARCH 11
Back in September of 2015 (it feels like forever-ago), I had the opportunity to polish up another song of mine with producer extraordinaire Jacob Rye (Sanctus Real). He has produced several EPs and singles for me in the past and I love how he brings my songs to life. I posted a teaser video on Instagram of a snippet of the song, back in the Fall, BUT in a few days you'll be able to hear the whole thing!
On March 11th I'm releasing my new Single, "Spirit Alive in Me". It will be available on hundreds of digital outlets, including iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Amazon, etc.
This song is really special to me. I wrote it with my friend Crystal Nicole, who has won several Grammys and, more importantly, has an incredible heart for Jesus. When she's not out on tour with Lecrae, I get to sing with her at our church. I consider it a HUGE honor that I got to co-write with her. The song is also special to me because it is the beginning of a new direction I am pursuing in my songwriting. My desire to write more songs for the Church. Songs that touch the heart of God and those who follow Him. "Spirit Alive in Me" is a big step into that songwriting realm.
I'll be sending out another update about this on release day, so watch for that!
ATLANTA SHOW @ SMITH'S OLDE BAR
It has been awhile since the "Eich, Ike, Scobie Tour" of 2012 and even longer since the "White Pants Tour" in 2010. So, I am pumped for Monday, March 7th when I get to share the stage again with my friend JD Eicher! This guy is awesome and he and his band are doing some awesome things with their music.
