It's 90 degrees here in Denver so I thought I'd grab some a/c and check in with you blog-readers.
I have been in Colorado this past week for wedding festivities as well as some performances. Shows at The Walnut Room and Spotlight Music Cafe went very well and I can't wait for another trip out here! Here is a quick pic from the other night. Fort Collins is a very welcoming place :)
If you have been following my Email Updates, Facebook posts, or Twitter tweets lately you have probably heard the big news here in KS land. With the excitement of BABY SCOBIE coming at the end of this year there is much to celebrate around here. My wife, Elizabeth, is almost 18 weeks along and as the baby grows, so does our excitement. There is no denying how miraculous this whole process is. God's orchestration just blows my mind.
So what do I do when major things happen? Write. SO, a NEW SONG is on the way! Check out the (blurry) pic below from the studio. My single "The Lullaby" is set to release digitally on Oct. 18th. Some of you have already had a chance to check it out at a live show. The rest of you will just have to wait :)
